Thanks for the Heads-Up. Shell Island is my go to place too...Hope they can recover and get back up and operational soon-they good people and have done it many times over the years. My son still out of school and was thinking of going tomorrow, but will probably wait til things settle down a little.

Benda, think I met you at the fish cleaning station at Shell Island-I had the 12 yr old cleanin the fish...that was a nice trout. Glad you had some luck on Sunday. Thanks for posting and see you down there soon-should be getting better.

That's more fish than everybody on this forum will catch in a lifetime....and they say recreational fisherman deplete the resources......

Been itching to go, so in spite of no good reports, fresh water, hot water etc....took off early Saturday morning with my 12 year old son-he wanted to see the sun come up over the lighthouse. We did and headed east to start in deep water 9-11 feet. Fished with new penny gulp and white/chartruse tail...

They like mud minners tipped with chicken livers!

Great weekend of fishing-never know unless you go. I had the boat hooked up Saturday night and truck loaded to head down Sunday. Slept in....didn't think I would catch a thing because of the negative reports-it worked! Thanks for update!
