Good morning all. I have a Carolina Skiff with the thin fiberglass casting platform on the front. I want to mount my trolling motor but wasn't sure if the fiberglass could handle the torque when the trolling motor is in use. Any of you have any recommendations? Started fishing out of the Econfina around noon on Monday, 10/24/11. Headed East and had no luck. The wind was blowing. Decided to run towards the Aucilla and try it. The wind was still blowing but managed to catch about 6 keeper trout (17 to 20 inches) and let them go. Fished jigs (glow) on bottom ...
