Re: Alligator Point/Panacea pointers
Dustin..
Tucker Lake is more Salt than anything. I am certain during different times and tides there can be more or less freshwater influx.
Redfish, Trout, Flounder, and Sheepshead can all be caught there.
Watch for gators.

Early Fall … Is a great time to visit the pumpkin patch.
Well we survived summer now it’s time to choose where you will hunt. Personally I’m a water guy, but this is a great time to hunt both the woods or water. The cool mornings and manageable mid days make fishing in fall comfortable… also less boat traffic. Coffee in the boat during that cool early mo...

To get to the kayak launch at Tucker Lake; go through the first gate on the left and follow it towards the back. There will be a dirt road on the right before you get to the bridge where it dead ends. Check your tides so your not fighting the current. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20221003/15e31d...

Will have to stock up. Hard to focus on the task at hand when your rubbing one leg to another trying to keep from getting bit.
Thanks for the re-fresh on the tip.

I bought some cheap, knockoff brand foam decking on Amazon three years ago and it's held up really well on my G3. Other than my poor installation skills, it looks pretty good. I made sure I cleaned the aluminum deck really well before I installed it. It wasn't very sticky the first day I installed ...

If possible fish the falling tide on bald point around the oyster bars. Will be in the afternoon time for the dates mentioned. Bring a pair of shoes you trust to protect the planters from the sharp shells and get to walking. You will get wet starting out; but as the tide falls your will be high and ...

Personally haven’t launched there in a while. But I’ve yet to pass it by and not seen it being used..
Someone else may know first hand. But it does appear open.

How to Fish Ochlockonee Bay?
Your success fishing off a dock is going to be tidal. I’d use live shrimp free lined off the dock and cut bait on the bottom. Depending where exactly your place is located; trout and redfish cruise up and down the bay. Your success can be determined by the fresh to saltwater ratio. I suggest using a...
