Levy Bay Rd. vs. Bottoms Rd. Ramp

Last Sunday I made the mistake of launching from the Ochlockonee Ramp and had to be towed out by a friend due to some new white powder sand mound placed at the end of the ramp. Drifting around Levy Bay I noticed 2 ramps Levy Bay Rd. and Bottoms Rd. I'm planning out heading out to Dickerson Bay and P...

Talquin Log Safety Question

I've fished around the island in the middle of Talquin a few times and have a good a understanding of that general area when it comes to flooded logs. This weekend we are planning on launching from either Ben Stoutamire Rd. or Wainwright Rd. and I noticed on Navionics Talquin Map that it mentions qui...

Lake Talquin 8-8-2015

Took the new boat out for the second time and I can't tell you what an awesome feeling it is to have the whole family aboard while fishing (before I could only take one other person with me on the Pelican). We launched from Lake Talquin Lodge at 12pm and immediately I made 2 newbie mistakes - forgot...

New Boat New Trolling Motor New Questions

Before I started drilling into the precious fiberglass to install the trolling motor I realized that if I were to drill I would not be able to reach...

Robinson Camp Rd., Lake Talquin launch

Hey guys,
I'm looking forward to taking the family out on the new boat at Lake Talquin this Saturday for some catfish and bass fishing and wanted to know if Robinson Camp Rd. was a public access ramp or private? Thanks for the help!
