Re: Residential elevator needed
Saw a show over the weekend, treehouse builders or something like that... They used a winch and pulley system to lift a wood structure up and down as an elevator. Could be a less expensive option.

We still having the tournament? Hurricane Matthew's path is projecting closer to Florida today. I have a reservation and would like to cancel in time if we do not have the tournament. Be nice to know for sure soon so I can cancel and not incur charges if needed.

Re: Rant on Sheilds Marina
Call Weyman at Jacks Boats in Perry. He does all my Suzuki work and has done honest and fair work. I know several forum members use him. Not knocking Shields at all as I have never used them for service. But, I have used Jacks and it has been great service. Pick your boat up and drop it off in Perry...

Capt. Steve Hobbs is great. Also recommend Capt. Mike McNamara at St. Marks Outfitters.

Re: Fishing Port St Joe
I'd be interested in how you do! Lots of good fishing around blacks island and back towards pig island. Good grass flats all around. Throw a top water and cover as much water as you can. I also like the shoreline as you head out of the bay, from Eagle Harbor to the mouth. Its usually crystal clear a...
Re: Sheephead
Rotary Reef, St. Marks Reef, or any other rocks in the 20ft mark. Use a small hook and shrimp for sheepshead. They tend to move offshore with the cold and hold on those near shore structures. Can be hard to locate but once you do, its lights out action. Check out the GPS Numbers link on this webpage...

Re: Aucilla 1-16
I hear ya! That was my buddy's aluminum 16 boat that we fished out of. I'm still stubborn and refuse to launch my 20ft fiberglass bay boat at the Aucilla. It's true, he's done some damage on rocks no doubt... Been towed in before. I've lost a lower unit out of St. Marks in the rock garden, insurance...

Aucilla 1-16
Fished the Aucilla and surrounding creeks on Saturday with Bigphisy. Every place we stopped had trout. Stopped at random curves and caught fish when people were on spots we were trying to fish. No reds this time. Not many short trout either. Kept a 2 man limit and released several over slots and sev...

Pepsi Bainbridge Football Bottle
I was cleaning up some of the things left in the attached carport storage of the house I bought a few years ago and came across this old Pepsi bottle commemorating the 1982 Bainbridge High School state football champions. This photo is off the internet and the bottle I found is a little faded but in...

Re: NFGFC Nov ROLL CALL - Final Tourney of the Year!!
The short version... I was up 4 points going in. Chuck caught big red and got 1st place, Tad got big trout and 2nd place. The results are Chuck, Tad, and then myself in the Angler of the Year standings... I didn't pay much attention to the rest of the results. It was a fun day and a lot of good fish...

Re: Steinhatchee
Fished there for the Oct. NFGFC a few weeks back. The fishing was good, we caught trout and reds to the south by Bird Island. Lots of rock grass, just find a patch and start drifting. The grass was bad so if its still that way plan on using weedless lures and jigs... A lot of nice fish were brought ...
