Wanted fiberglass 16-18 ft V-hull boat

Looking for a 16-18 ft. V-hull open boat. Do not need a motor. Will consider a trailer. Fiberglass only. Have a 70 hp outboard so need a hull that will take that size motor. Am experienced in fiberglass work so alterations or repairs no big problem. Ph-229-382-3991 leave message or arcadiainc@msn.co...

Thank you!

Thank you for instituting this new forum. I wish I could give the surf a try and post the results. However the Christmas Season dictates otherwise. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Put in at Shell Island Fish Camp at Saint Marks. Good folks, can buy all your needs there. Also you can run the river to the Gulf with little worry of rocks etc. Turn left, go to lighthouse area then worry abt rocks etc. At least you can try out your new boat. Also good fishing.

Took down two Norfork pines about 65 foot each. Had to rope most of the limbs out, top em and chunk the rest of the trees down. Drank about four gallons of water and sweated about six gallons. Changed shirts four times. Came home with rear dragging. Not too interested in exercise.

Ahhh Not quite the problem as you may think. If you have available a dry tile saw, one that looks like a very small circular saw, use it. Take out any and every thing you can from inside the boat. Set the blade angle about 35 to 45 degrees. You want the bottom edge of the saw to point to the center ...

GPS

If you want a good cheap GPS a Garmin 72 is hard to beat. Waterproof, floats, gives you the tides and points toward the house for about $125.00.

tried many of the latest and the greatest. Troubles and disappointments.
Now all I use is Ande. Same with reels. Just use Penn now and they don't fall apart, wobble or freeze. Have a good collection of expensive junk.

push pole

No---It is one piece. I took a 3/4" piece of plywood and cut a two inch circle. this was epoxied to one end. The pole has been a success. It is lightweight, inexpensive and attractive. I feel the need for nothing more.

Get a closet rod. They come in lengths up to about 20 feet. Diameter is 1-3/8 inches. Not the strongest out there but will work well if you do not attempt to pry a 1000 pound boat out of the sand. I put several coats of spar varnish on mine. Looks kinda classy if I say so myself. Oh yes, burn your n...
