I don't like this change. I don't get on the water that often, and I appreciated the opportunity to keep a couple of redfish when I do go, as they are great table fare. Fisherman like me were not putting a great deal of pressure on the fishery.

Aucilla River redfish on the grill in lemon butter with blackening seasoning. Not true blackening but a lot easier to do and still good. My wife especially loves the redfish backs cooked this way.

Ok, Barry, thanks for getting it fixed. Could we get rid of the green matrix dude now? It's freaking out my dog.

There is just no place like Louisiana for redfish. The salty and brackish marsh is so extensive (even with all the pollution from the oil industry, etc.) that juvenile fish have an incredible estuary in which to grow up. You just can't compare our coastline or most others along the Gulf to that fish...

Same thing I found last time I fished creek mouths at Econfina. My buds and I hit a couple of keepers at the first creek we fished out of the channel and then all the shorts we wanted but no keepers for the next two days. Bodes well for next year, I guess.
