Re: Downloading Waypoints from Garmin 2006C
Thanks for the offers. It someone's suggestion I called Garmin tech support and they offered me another option. Since I have another, more recent, Garmin unit that accepts SD cards they said I could hardwire the 2 units together, transfer the waypoints to the newer unit and then download them to an ...

Re: Downloading Waypoints from Garmin 2006C
He may be dealing with the old style proprietary Garmin memory stick drive which requires a special reader and pre-Windows 7 os if I recall correctly. This is what I'm reading other places online. I have no Garmin memory stick, cable or card reader only the GPS. I'm going to try to call Garmin tech...

Downloading Waypoints from Garmin 2006C
I'm upgrading my GPS and need to download the waypoints from my old 2006C, store them on a SD, and then upload them to a new GPS. I've read online that you have to have an old Garmin card reader and an old Garmin disk, as well as an older laptop to read the card reader. Does that sound right? Anybod...

Re: Panama City Fishing Charter
Capt. Harris is cousins with a friend of ours. We took a bunch of kids fishing with him back in November and caught a mess of flounder. He does offshore, inshore and gigging. Great guy. That's our picture on November 12.

Re: Quail and Hard Labor Creek Plantation
I have hunted both Hard Labor Creek and Cedars Farm Plantation in the last 2 weeks. Both nice operations but Cedars Farm land is much prettier. It may be the prettiest land I've hunted. I think it's $475/half day. Don't recall what Hard Labor was. Give Derry a call.

Hunting Lease Wanted
I have a business partner from the Tampa area that is interested in leasing land for deer/hog/turkey hunting. He's interested in leasing 500-1,000 acres in the North Florida/South Georgia area. I don't think he's looking to join a club but would like to lease the property by himself or with another ...

Re: Official Scallop Thread - 2016
No joy on scallops today. Not skunked, but close. :o Water was stained and when the tided turned it got worse. Boys had fun swimming and goofing off. They decided that they wanted to swim in the river so I took them about 2 miles up the Wakula. It sounded like I had girl scouts when they hit that c...

Tallahassee Gunsmith Recommendations
I have a Browning Auto-5 20 guage that I was given as a kid. I want to give it to my son as a gift but it needs some minor stock repair and a good cleaning done on it. It has some surface rust on the blueing. Anybody have a gunsmith recommendation for me? Thanks.

Re: How far from shore is the St. Marks stake line?
I always understood it to be 2 miles from shore and marks the boundaries of the St. Marks NWR. Which means, you can't duck hunt inside the stake line!

Re: Cobia in Carrabelle
I think they go for $150, how's $100 sound? I also put a steel safety lanyard with clip on it so as to not drop it overboard. I have a buddy that has one too and I'm sure he would sell his as well since he doesn't have a boat anymore in case someone else is interested. http://i1279.photobucket.com/...
