I use mostly "bass" lures and rods/reels. I have no problem catching saltwater fish. Espicially reds. I catch alot of reds in the kayak on bass tackle.
Sometimes the hooks needs to be changed out for stouter versions....and they all need to be rinsed afterwards if you can.

People like your two spot poachers receive a 1oz Carolina rig across their bow. The next shot is in the side of the boat. Makes a nice loud gunshot sound. Sometimes dents paint. I've done it before, ill do it again. Rude.

Hi, welcome! Wakulla river can be daunting at times- but its mostly because of boat traffic.....the fish are fairly easy to figure out. Leonard's landing on hwy98 is free. Its in alligator harbor, just east of turkey point.
