Fished St Marks today, got a number of trout, but got bit off cleanly a few times. Would there be some Spanish around now? If so, any suggestions other than wire? Thanks

Thanks, makes sense since I saw them on 27 near the Ochlocknee. Might have to check that out. Used to drive from the Black Hills to Pierre SD to fish the white bass run on the Missouri below Oahe Dam. Was a blast on the fly. Also would pick up smallies, pike, and walleye.

Long motor layoff
Have a 30 Merc that has only 15 hours on it but hasn't been run for probably 8 to 10 years. Any suggestions as to getting it going again? Should a pro be the one to do it or just try to crank it myself?

Thanks for the reply's. Will be coming from Black Hills of South Dakota trout country, started on the fly in warm water and then the salt on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Looking forward to my first redfish anything else that swims down there!

There is a fair to middling chance I will be moving to Tallahassee area within the next 8-12 months. Starting to think about my tackle/flies etc. in anticipation.
