Re: What is this?

I concur that it's most likely related to an insect study (types, population, etc). The marking flag would be relative to a true study being conducted, if I had to guess, I would suspect that Q2 stands for Quadrant 2 and or the Q somehow ties into the property ID. For an April Fool's joke, you coul...

Re: What is this?

Thanks! I guess I could have asked the Google. My next question would be why and who? The market flag had a alphanumeric marking. Wonder if it’s for research of some kind.

Very cool video! Enjoyed seeing all the different species. You’ve got some nice bucks in there.

Re: Good luck!!!!

Anyone have any luck? My son and I hunted two days as guests on a lease. Gobblers talkative opening day, but none came in to seal the deal. We hunted that following Thursday and they were tight lipped.

Where will the fish be today? 28 Jan 17

Thinking of hitting oyster bay this afternoon. High tide at 15:23. Wondering if this cold weather will push the fish out of the bay. Thoughts? I know...you don't know unless you go!

Re: Skipper Bay Road, Panacea

I got to the end in my VW Golf last year. There was a good puddle in road, maybe 3 to 4 inches deep. I had to disconnect my intake to get through, but a truck shouldn't have a problem. Ground clearance becomes your friend towards the end, but you should be fine without 4x4. There's a hand launch to...

Skipper Bay Road, Panacea

Can one drive to the water on Skipper Bay Road? Want to launch kayaks there tomorrow and fish. I thought someone last year told me the road was blocked well before the water.

Alternative launch site is Bottoms, but want to be closer the north end of Piney/Oyster Bay.

St. Mark 25 March 16

Friday was a work holiday for me (Good Friday). Fished St. Marks with a friend from work. Weather forecast was iffy and night before declared I'd make a weather decision at 07:00 Friday. Woke up to rain, but optimistically interpreted the weather radar and called it a GO. We arrived at the old fort ...

Re: St Marks 19 March 16

Woke up to rain early Saturday morning. Would have been tempting to sleep in but had company from out of town and had promised a day on the water. Glad we stuck it out. When we arrived at the fort, there was not one rig with trailer in the lot. I wondered if that was a bad sign. Glad we stuck it ou...
