Re: Metal Boat carport
Both good suggestions. I will check with Taylors. I would prefer to have someone who installs these for a living. We can probably do it ourselves but I am going to be building the house and really wont have the time. It is a tall one being 24 x 40 by 13.5 in the peak so the height makes a difference.

Metal Boat carport
Good morning all. I need a little information. We have a metal boat/camper carport at our place in East Point. I am relocating about two miles from the current location and want to take the unit with me. I figure if they installed it they could disassemble it and re-install it. I'm having no luck ge...

Re: What would you do?
I'm afraid I would not have handled it as nicely as this guy did. I don't know happened but to damage someone's boat like this is uncalled for. If this were me this would not be the end of this story.

Re: Mangrove snapper
We have fished for them in the keys at night on any moon and caught all we wanted. We found using chunks of grunt worked best as it stayed on until a big one would get brave and take it. In the keys 40 feet is the ideal depth . In the panhandle we have fished for them three or four times at night at...

Cant beat that view. Sounds like a great trip! If the crossing wasn't a problem would your own boat be an advantage in your location?

Re: FWC Seatrout Workshops/Proposed Management
I noticed the same thing around SGI this year. I figured it was caused by Hurricane Michael. I caught more little shorts this year than the last five years combined. Looked like a lot of reports around St Marks were indicating the same results.
Re: Capsized
I tend to get the feeling we better have our own a-sses covered in this area.

Re: New proposed trout regulations
The people population is also thick down there. I just got back from a trip where I ran down the east coast, went to the keys, then back up the west coast. The whole time I was thinking about how many boats there were compared to the big bend area. Maybe we need to quit advertising our area or event...

Re: Big Bend Fishing
Well said. It doesn't affect us that much. We live six hours away but have had a place in East Point since 2006. We just don't eat fish much at home anymore but do like to cook some when in Florida. You mentioned further south. I just got back from a trip to the Keys and made several stops on the wa...

Redfish on the menu
Need some info from any in the know. In the last three days I have eaten at a restaurant in Florida and one in Georgia that had Blackened or grilled redfish on the menu. Is this legal? I was under the impression they could no longer be offered in restaurants.

Spot on csmarine. No surprise that BIG money calls the shots and the rest of us are blamed and given the crumbs.
