Good job and thanks for the report. Myself and two Grandson's got to fish St. Joe Bay Saturday. Mostly caught shorts with only 3 keepers. The 10 year old showed how it was done by landing big fish of the day. A 22" trout and fat...no sure who was more excited, me or the 10 year old.

Thanks guys, it was for sure an awesome experience. Probably the best trout, or trout-a-saurus, I will ever catch.
I know this is pointless but I would be curious to hear the guesses on what the weight "might" have been ???

Late posting this but here it is. Got to get out for a early morning trip before the rains moved in. Threw a spook jr and it wasn't long I had a big explosion and the fight was on. Finally landed her and it was a new personal best at 28". Forgot to weight it but I did get a picture Can't wait t...

Didn't get on the water until about 1:30. Moved in and out trying to find a bite. Ended up with 4 keepers up to 19".
Best in about 5' under cajun thunder. Boat ran great, lost a wheel bearing on the way home.
Thankful I was able to get on the water.

I rode down Friday and it looks like they have a lot left to do. Not sure what timeframe they plan to finish but it appears it will be a while. Maybe it will be good when they finish.

Sorry for your loss...just lost my Dad a month ago and it's tough. We will be praying for you and your family.

Thank You everyone. My Dad lived a full life. He had no complaints, he was a good man and a wonderful Daddy. I will truly miss him.
