Re: Stuck shotgun choke

I had one once that I could not make any kind of oil or break free spray work! I will say that there is a product out now called 'Knock-er-Lose' that is pretty good. Last Day SGI

Had to look for a place out of the wind today. Wound up @ Apalachicola. Found a lot of trout. Most were short but is was good to be able to catch a lot of fish! It has been a great week on the Forgotten Coast. Some observations from the week. Z-Man baits out perform Gulp 10-1. Pro Cure Scent works w...

Lanark and SGI

Caught a 3 man limit of Spanish with a handful of Blues and tons of Lady fish in front of Lanark in the morning. Then came back to SGI and caught 12 trout with 3 keepers late afternoon. Great day on the water with my 2 sons. It has been a good week. Great food great fishing. Glory

Power Pro Problems

Has anyone had any issues with the 'new' Power Pro? It has been in a different colored box recently. I have had problems with 'mid-line' breaking and fraying. Thought it was a bad eye but it did it on 3 different rods!

SGI Part 2

Day 2 was better. Perfect weather for 3-4 hours. 3 slot Reds 1 short . All on spoons today. Dozen or so trout most on Zman soft plastics. All the trout were short but we caught them pretty steady.

Re: SGI before the rain

The water clarity behind St. George was what I would call 'dark'. less than 2 feet. We fished really skinny water. Less than 2 feet for the most part.

SGI before the rain

Got out for 2 hours before the rain arrived this morning. 2 short trout and slot Red. Rattlesnake cove. Trout on a popping cork and a Aqua Dream gold spoon. Red on a Pop-a-mullet. It is good to be back!

SGI to Alligator Bay Late September

I had thought I would get a guide when we come down in late September but have decided to bring the boat instead. Gives me the ability to fish more days. Any advice for inshore trout and reds that time of year. I haven't been there in 5-6 years!

Grass and oyster bed map

Several years ago I ran across an interactive map that showed the grass and oyster beds for Fla. Has anyone seen anything like that recently?
