How is the fishing at St. George and over to Lanark? Headed that way 11th -17th. Is Dog Island Reef a good choice and are the reds in the bay this time of year?

Stop scaring a land locked freshwater saltwater wanna be! Seriously though my boat is probably too big for the state park, 20’ with a 115. Can I still get to those spots from the ramp at the bridge? We will have a boat that we can get outside or in the bay with. Will the Spanish still be off the beaches?

We are getting a little vacation to St. George in mid Sept. I have never fished there. Is the trout fishing good that time of year and are the Spanish still around then? 2 young boys want to know (oh yea their dad needs to know too!) Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also what about offshore?

I am looking into coming in the fall to try to catch trout and maybe reds. When is the best time to come when the fish are still on the flats before they move up in the rivers?

We fished 3 boats for 3 days and had limited success. The weather had our ears pinned back a couple of days so we fished inside Bird Island. We caught a few trout. We had around 8-10 keepers per boat each day. We also had a good many shorts. The keepers were nice with several fish over 20". One...
