Searching the site
Is there any way to search reports by date. I would like to look at the reports for a certain area for a certain month of the year. This would help me to figure out what may be going on when I come down. I only get to fish once or twice a year. This would make it easier to know where to start! For i...

Lanark and beyond 9-16-11
We tried our hand at some close in grouper with no luck. (Did not know what I was doing). We did manage 1 llllarge Spanish on an olive X-Rap. Lost 2 more good'uns. After trying our hand on Dog Island reef for trout with no luck we came back inside to look for some trout. We caught a dozen or so but ...

DOg Island Reef 9-13
We had a great day on the reef. The trout fishing was slow but the blues made up for it. It was the first time the wife had experienced the fast action of schooling blues. She loved it! oh yea the boys (who are 'old hands at it) loved it too! Hope to head off shore Thursday for some bottom fishing. ...

Family Fishing @ St. George
Put in at the bridge and went east to the State Park. 2 reds one 18 and one 21. The good wife's first red! Good first day. There were a lot of reds there lost several more fish. only fished a couple of hours. Not too bad for fishing blind. That was our first time in Appalachicola Bay. Maybe we will ...

St. George Bound this week
How is the fishing at St. George and over to Lanark? Headed that way 11th -17th. Is Dog Island Reef a good choice and are the reds in the bay this time of year?
Just a family trip hoping to get the boys and wife in some fish somewhere! Any help would be greatly appreciated. (20' Proline)

Re: Need Help for Saint George in Mid September
Stop scaring a land locked freshwater saltwater wanna be! Seriously though my boat is probably too big for the state park, 20’ with a 115. Can I still get to those spots from the ramp at the bridge? Thanks for the info. What about Dog Island Reef that time of year I may meet a buddy at Lanark one day.

We will have a boat that we can get outside or in the bay with. Will the Spanish still be off the beaches?

Need Help for Saint George in Mid September
We are getting a little vacation to St. George in mid Sept. I have never fished there. Is the trout fishing good that time of year and are the Spanish still around then? 2 young boys want to know (oh yea their dad needs to know too!) Any input would be greatly appreciated. Also what about offshore?

Best Fall Fishing Times
I am looking into coming in the fall to try to catch trout and maybe reds. When is the best time to come when the fish are still on the flats before they move up in the rivers?

Lanark 4-27-28-29-2011
We fished 3 boats for 3 days and had limited success. The weather had our ears pinned back a couple of days so we fished inside Bird Island. We caught a few trout. We had around 8-10 keepers per boat each day. We also had a good many shorts. The keepers were nice with several fish over 20". One...

Looks like the wind is going to blow. But maybe we can fish the inside spots. Thanks so much for your input.

We will be fishing Wed. Thur. and Fri. Next week. We Will be putting in at Lanark. What is the best bet for trout and then for Spanish? I was thinking Dog Island reef for Spanish and inside bird island plus turkey point for trout? Any other suggestions? What about behind Dog Island? This land locked...
