Re: 30.06, .270 & .243 Rifle Ammo **FOR SALE**
I tend to agree with "ugadawg" that ain't no bargain. However I also believe the market will dictate the price in a free economy. If you don't want them don't buy them. I certainly would not in this case. Any item is worth what someone is willing to pay. I see the point in this being differ...

Re: Shield's ramp
Not an expert with any of these ramps but I launched at the Fort in November with no issues at all. I too thought I would be solo but had an old time fishing buddy join me at the last minute so he drove the truck out and parked. Long line up/haul out shot in front of ramp, wide ramp, docks, lots of ...

Re: what's your Favorite boat food?
Subway samitch or homemade samitch (turkey/cheese). Lance peanut butter/cheese crackers (about a dozen packs onboard). Deer/beef jerky. Ice cold adult beverages (cold beer) and water. That pretty much covers the major food groups.

Re: Wear your PFD!!!
Wow great advise from a real world event. I am guilty of all the PFD infractions mentioned at times. I have started wearing and inflatable vest a lot more especially when alone. Nice public service message.

Re: Suzuki vs. Yamaha
My boat has a Yamaha 200 SHO. Quiet, easy start, performance, easy routine PM/repairs, pretty good fuel economy for a 200 outboard. No complaints. I hear a lot of good stuff about Suzuki too.

Re: New trick for grouper
If you were fishing for taste you hit a pretty darn good trifecta. I like almost any kind of fish but grouper, flounder and snapper are right up there with my favorites. Nice catch.

Good information. I hope I never have to use it but it is still good information. My finger started throbbing just looking at the picture.

Re: St. Marks 11/1
Hey SP sorry I am just getting back in the house. We used live shrimp (drifting loose line and under popping corks), gulp 3" shrimp various colors with jig heads, jerk baits and spoons. Got some action on most of the above but of course everything was hitting live shrimp. The Spanish were mostl...

Re: St. Marks 11/1
I finally made it down Sunday late afternoon and went out Monday and Tuesday. From the looks of this report I was in the wrong place at the right time. When I hit the mouth of the St.Marks the wind and waves were way past a chop there were some decent frequent rollers. Turned east into a sustained 1...

Re: Calm afternoon for a snapper/grouper combo
Nice report. Man those two make me hungry for some fresh snapper and grouper. I have also caught snapper in less than 90' in the past. I guess there are more holding in deeper water but nice to know you can pick up a nice one on occasion with less of a haul. Coming down Sunday for a couple of days g...

Re: Stuck shotgun choke
All these are good ideas but be careful. If you foul the threads or bend the barrel you may ruin the barrel. Then you will either have to buy a new barrel or have it machined by someone who knows what they are doing. By that I mean the manufacturer specs the barrel and choke for certain gas pressure...

Re: Grilling fish????
I also use the aluminum foil tent trick. The foil kind of steams the filets plus lets them soak in the delicious drippings. Place a couple of filets on foil, ad ingredients, fold the foil into a tent with venting at the top, cook on grill or smoker, takes about 10-15 minutes to cook depending on thi...
