Re: Totally off topic....glass clean up

Thanks guys. The only thing I worry about with the excavator is accidentally excavating the pipe that runs from the well to the house :o

Thanks for the ideas ....i know the neighbor has a tractor of some sort so perhaps they'd be willing to help out somehow....

Re: Croakers in Panacea

Cant help you out there but here in jax we use croakers as one of the baits when chasing BIIIIIIG redfish. They croak so beautifully. We usually put out our redfish rods with crab and/or cut bait and then I settle down with another rod and start catching croakers. Sometimes instead of redfish we wil...

Totally off topic....glass clean up

i'll be buying a house out there....assuming it all goes through to closing, which it's looking more positive at this point...and it appears as though previous owners or someone used the back part of the property as a dump. That kind of thing drives me nuts but oh well. Anyway, there is a good deal ...

Re: Pecan Wood for Smoking??

Re: Pecan Wood for Smoking??

I'd take some Hickory for my dad too. It will be a while before I get out that way still, but if Barry wanted to pick some up for me while getting his own load, I know I'll see him.... If you don't want to pick any up either Barry, that's fine too....but if it's just being tossed away, I could find ...

Re: Rainy afternoon so...

Hey, I'm a gear hound too. I participated with a friend and we both guided on a wounded warriors hunt this year. Our Veteran said GOOD GOD do you really need ALL THAT STUFF to go duck hunting? I said NOPE, don't need it but I sure do like having it all. So YUP I'm a gear hound too. Though I can tell...

Re: Waders

I have a pair of Frogg Togg chest waders for sale on the classifieds section here. I only wore them once. Gander Mountain told me no refunds on waders. Reason I'm selling is because I found a pair I liked better. They're not 'breathable" (but honestly I believe that's the biggest gimmick there ...

Re: FWC wants your feedback on proposed antler regulations

I may have missed it but where are the proposed regulations? Without having to fill out the survey I mean. I am just curious what it is now vs what it will go to potentially.

Re: It's gator season!

I've found that cooking gator you can very easily over cook it. So it will be very tough. I don't know which cuts of meat you were cooking but the only things that I kept "whole" were the cheeks and the loins from the tail. Everything else got cubed into chunks. We cooked one of the loins ...
