Re: Irma
I'm thinking its going to turn due to the cold front that's supposed to come through this weekend, looks like my last hurrah for scallops may be a bit choppy.
Re: Irma
Hopefully, this is a more accurate model. Eastern tracks do seem to be most likely

Re: Prescription sunglasses… Any recommendations?
I'd say solar bat's, they're made in the usa and have a great warranty. plus the owner is an optometrist, I highly recommend the mossback or mossback gradient lenses.

Re: Harvey/TX Gulf Coast
Another thing to think about with the tx flooding is their soil don't drain as well as the soils in ga or fl, their interstate overpasses tend to be low spots and prone to flooding. The interstate interchanges in downtown Houston are in a big bowl shaped depression as well. Plus the bayou's north of...

Re: Kudos to Shields Marina
I wish my seapro was that nice, great looking boat. Shield s is great to deal with, Brett talked to me for an hour about a boat he knew wasn't leaving with me that day. Hopefully, I get to buy a new boat from there next year and my seapro finds a new home.

The fire wheel kit came from amazon, it has everything but an autopilot, a radio, and a battery. I'll look up what it was actually called.

Re: Drone experts
Personally I'd say to stay away from dji stuff, I'm not a fan of their autopilot. If you want to go cheap get a quantum, it has an open source autopilot. It has the same body as a phantom but a new one can be had for around $300, cheaper on black Friday. Or if you want to go even cheaper you can bui...
