Re: Fly Tyers post up...

I am an avid fly tier who specializes in North West Trout patterns. As you would expect, those tying needs have been minimal since my relocation. I have started getting into the Redfish tying. I can wait to stick one on my 6 weight! :smt007

Re: Gas/Alcohol

Does anyone know who sells Ethanol free gas in the Crawfordville, Panacea area. Does the lack of a 10% sticker mean its truly pure? Most pumps dont even have card readers down here.

Re: Fish Tacos

I fry my fish as normal. Use that as meat on a flour tortilla pasted with tarter sauce, onion, lettuce, cheese, and a couple drops of hot sauce!

Re: Soft jerk baits

Could someone please describe the most common action or retrieve when targeting Reds on such plastics. While I am asking for welfare "Change" might as well ask cool and warm water temp diferences. Thanks Guys!

Did you see or clean out the brass screen in the top of the bowl you removed?

I like to be on the light side for reels. What model do you suggest for the REDFISH on the Symetre.

Thanks in advance

Re: hard to feel sorry for Detroit CEO's...

Last week, I was driving down smooth pavement in my 2006 GMC Sierra listening to bailout discussion on NPR. The Privacy light/sunglass holder fell down and was hanging from the wires. Thought it was pretty fitting.

Cheers!

Re: Dang it!

Feel for ya. My choc lab got hit and paid the specialist to pin his hind leg. He was 1 yr old. He is 3 now and you could not tell. Still retrieves like a madman below 32F in the swamp. Money well spent on a good lab who is part of the family.
