Re: St marks electronics guy
I drove down to St. Marks from Thomasville one day to fish. I forgot I’d taken my receiver hitch off the truck. With no way to hook to my boat, John let me borrow his B&W Tow&Stow so I could launch my boat. Standup guy. . . . and I now own my very own Tow&Stow. Sent from my iPhone using ...

Not sure . . . . Owner wasn’t sure either. At least he was close in. That would be a bad feeling half way to K tower!Srbenda wrote:Bilge wasnt working but what caused the water to get in the boat?

St. Marks
Went out yesterday with my 14 y/o son. He loves fishing more than I do! Headed out to Rotary Reef looking for some early season Cobia. My son also wanted to catch a shark. Nothing home. One break off with cut bait (probably a shark). Seas picked up, so we headed back to the West Flats . . . . which ...

Re: Ideal fishing conditions for Apalachee Bay
Best thing I ever did was pay a guide to go with me a few times when I got back into salt water fishing a couple of years ago. Lots of great guides out there. I have used Capt. Mike at St. Marks Outfitters. Great guy, knowledgeable, and fun to fish with. I wouldn’t expect them to just give you all o...

I sent CSMarine a private message when he first left, but I don’t think it was received. Curious to find out who the man behind the username was, I looked him him up at: https://marines.togetherweserved.com/usmc/servlet/tws.webapp.WebApp?cmd=ShadowBoxReflectionProfile&type=Person&ID=284958 I...

Re: Did anyone from GA get told to go home this weekend?
Thank you to Shields Marina, Wakulla County, & The Seinyard for allowing me to spend my GA earned dollars today. I had a day off and my oldest son turned 14 yesterday, so he joined me. I’ll be in the ER tomorrow putting a COVID patient on the vent I’m sure, irrespective of the patient’s state of...

Re: Best Boat ramp at St. Marks
Shields Marina or the Fort (public ramp). See pic. Both $5 You will have no problem launching from either one in that boat. Shields is a little tight, but I like being able to just step in my boat from the side sometimes. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190921/9e3519a34902c39eb2e208ced75beb84.jpg...

St. Marks 9/17/19
Fished for a few hours this am with my oldest son. We had low expectations. Water to the east was clear with temps around 82. Lots of floating grass. Found one nice trout on a white paddle tail - fishing around some deeper cuts to the east in 4-8ft of water. Headed over to Peter’s Rock - water was c...

Re: Panama City Fishing Suggestions
The wife let me bring the boat! Went out with a friend and our kids today. Had to launch from St. Andrews Marina. It was free & ramp is in good shape. The state park was definitely closer, but doesn’t open until 8 am (9 EST) - we wanted to launch earlier. Made our way to the pass & were gree...

Re: Panama City Fishing Suggestions
I fish PC regularly. I'll start with suggestions on boat ramps. Since your staying on Thomas Drive, St, Andrews State Park ramp will be the closest but there's a fee. The City marina is the best ramp in PC in my opinion but it's still closed due to storm damage. There's a great ramp that's 90% rest...

Re: Panama City Fishing Suggestions
Worse case, you can do like other boats did to me at Mexico Beach. Just pull up and ask if they’re catching anything and if they mind sharing the spot. Happened to me twice this year 12 miles off MB. That was you? LOL No thanks . . . Don’t want to teach my kids bad habits!! Sent from my iPhone usin...
