Re: FINE PER FISH OVER THE LIMIT
That two-day possession scenario can definitely sneak up on an angler who has not thought ahead. I remember fishing in the Rock The Dock (two-day) tournament a few years back - when the daily red limit was still 2 per person - and getting really worried all of a sudden while driving towards second ...

Re: Aucills River question
I sometimes wonder if I should ramble on like this about the secrets but here goes (I'm so bored lol!). The main Aucilla River goes underground once. It then reemerges several times through some sinkholes until it comes back at 98. It also has some sinkholes above where it first rises to form the ac...

Re: Fishing out of econfina river
I'm always looking for a good mullet bankfishing spot. I can catch them in my boat but I'd like to take my old man and my niece (the boat probably isn't a good idea for them).

Re: Harassment
I somehow missed the Panacea comment above. Human garbage is my conclusion also. People who don't really care about animals still kind of like Pelicans lol! So for somebody to go and eff up a bunch of Pelicans is just horrible. There's 1 at every marina, beach front hotel etc like helloooooooo I'm a...

Re: Fishing out of econfina river
Do mullet come in with the tide near the boat ramp? I'm not schooled on the Econfina but I used to visit my friend who has a house there. I saw a boy catching some there at the ramp once but I didn't bother him. I've since been back a few times when I had time out of the blue (in other words no plan...

Re: Harassment
Did anybody see the news story about what somebody did to dozens of pelicans in Wakulla County? I have a solution to that problem but I can't say it here.

Re: Yates Creek
This is on my list of things to check out. It's just outside of my stomping grounds and I'm not a big flats fisherman. I'm always looking for a new place for my mullet fishing though. Are there usually many at the landing?

Re: Fresh water mullets
If you know what the Thomas City Curve is then I'd be willing to bet that you know me lol! Somebody crashed on the thing a couple weeks ago! I wonder what that put the count at...probably almost as high as my bream count lol! I have not tried chumming. I was fishing on a budget up until about last s...

Re: Fresh water mullets
I've found that it's not that different than any other fishing. It's different...just not that different. Take bream fishing which, while I maintain takes some skill that certain snooty fisherman don't want to admit, isn't exactly rocket science. You have to find a hole (in the case of bream...mulle...

Re: How many of you fish out of a Jon boat for inshore?
That doesn't apply to me obviously...I just thought I'd put the shoe on the other foot to prove that point. Dude, seriously, can you read? Annoying isn't it? Man, you came on here and said you catch more fish than anyone, from the boat you paddle and carry in the bed of your truck No smiley face or...

Re: How many of you fish out of a Jon boat for inshore?
I wasn't aware that this was the thread for people wound tighter than a 1980s Evinrude sorry. Just keep in mind you said you catch more fish that anyone and called probably 80-90% of us stupid for cranking an outboard in fresh water that's not a lake. And I hope your acquaintance that was hacked up...

Wound tight...a fishing forum is the 1 place that sarcasm and humor is obvious to anybody for which that isn't the case.SHOWBOAT wrote:Not wound tight. Even though this is a fishing forum there is a need to keep the lies in check....
