Re: Poling Platform Metal Fabricator Wanted

Metal Fabrication of Tallahassee. They are anglers themselves and can fix you up, Jim.

On Weems Road. Tell 'em I sent you. They have done several custom projects for me. Great folks and quality workmanship.

Good to see your post, SrBenda! Getting tired of ice fishing at home?

Never a dull moment in the Bahamas, even from shore. You could catch a different species on every cast.

Original ramp on the southern end. Replaced with the double wide with the renovation. So I guess it's just 2, technically. Never was very good at math.

Re: Shield's ramp

The third ramp at the fort is very narrow. Better suited for jon boats. The fort does have piers (as does Shields) to tie off while you park the tow vehicle. Both ramps offer plenty of water even on the lowest negative winter tides.

Re: Shield's ramp

Lady Angler of the Year

Juan, the fort ramp is not much different from Shields, except more boats launching and no Ship's Store. Less than 5 minutes upriver.

Juan, think the club web site is no longer valid. Believe from Showboat's post that they are working on a dedicated section for the club on this forum with all pertinent info.

Awesome shot right there, Juan. That was worth the effort.

Weather has been very uncooperative for the most part. Hoping to give it a try on Friday, despite the full moon whammy.
