Re: 2020 Fishing Goals
I thought I already posted here, but I guess not.
My 2020 goals are pretty simple, fish more and learn how to catch more. The best part is that my girlfriend doesn't care if we catch fish or not, she just wants to enjoy the day on the water!

Re: Fishing Apalachee Bay at Night
I've thought about running out before sundown, anchoring by one of the towers, fishing all night and thru the dawn before heading back in. Are the Kraken even nastier offshore? But seriously, would that be a bad idea? Anybody tried it? Like K Tower? I'd want to be in a pretty big boat with some wea...

Re: Did anyone go
I was on the flats Saturday and Sunday afternoon east of the lighthouse. It was a little choppy, but not too bad. Caught 2 BSBs and a trout Saturday and 1 flounder Sunday. Beautiful weather!

Re: St. Marks bird rack
I thought it had been halfway torn down or taken down several years ago. I know it was much bigger in the past than it has been in the last 2 or 3 years.

Re: New wal mart gun rules
This is grandstanding, just like Dick's. It will accomplish nothing. No one I know or in my extended family gets ammo at Walmart anyways. The big difference for some is that Dick's is an outdoor store. Walmart sells some outdoor stuff. The main reason I quit buying ammo at Walmart was when the cash...

Re: New wal mart gun rules
Actually a person engaged in fishing, camping, or lawful hunting or going to or returning from a fishing, camping, or lawful hunting expedition is allowed to open carry. I agree with you and would and do concealed carry. I personally would rather concealed carry than open carry regardless. I agree ...

Re: Cranking Battery Question -
A perfect voltage with the engine running is between 13.7 and 14.7V. Is that not the alternator? Yes, that is while the battery is being charged by the alternator. I was confused by the chart above because I've never seen a lead acid battery put out more that 13 volts unless it's being charged. I w...

Re: Game cam on public land
If you get a camera that has cell service at least you can keep the pictures and probably some of the thief if it is stolen. They cost about twice as much, but you can see activity without going out to the camera. I had one stolen by a bear on my hunting lease a few years ago. I thought a person too...
