I have a place on Old Magnolia Rd. So I am mostly fishing between he upper rockpiles & the Rise (power lines) Tide does have some effect, but its minor.
I am a firm believer in the moto; The Best Time To Fish, Is When You Can.

Re: St Marks River
I toss a Baby Bush Hog. I love working the Upper area, mostly because it gets a lot less traffic due to the rock piles. Most of the time it's just me & nature. I counted 3 Manatee's, Blue Heron, 2 Ibis, 2 egret's, plus 1 Limpkin, & no People.

St Marks River
I was able to get off work before 1 pm Thursday 10/31, so I fished in the upper St Marks for two hours in the heavy wind looking for bass. Was not really expecting a lot of action, but always love being on the water. 2nd cast produced a 3lbs fish. Then picked up 8 more of small to medium ones. Then ...

Re: Remington Shotgun
Good morning
I would like to purchase the model 1100 if its still available.
I am in Tallahassee/Woodville area, and will be working at the FSU stadium on a construction project everyday. I will have to work a little late today.
Thanks

My brother & I hit one bar near the lighthouse (no bites at all), then moved around on the east flats. We picked up our limit of Trout. 16"-21 1/2" & LOTS of Shorts to just legal, before 1:30pm All on Gulp under a popping cork Then changed to fresh water up the Wakulla, & relea...

The reason 1/16 fishing was great at St Marks
My Saturday did not start off the way I had planned. Checked the weather, wind, tides. Looks Great! Loaded the boat & headed for St Marks ramp. As I stopped at the 4 way before the ramp, I see Steam coming from my HOOD!!! Not Good!! I pull into a parking space at the ramp and look under the hood...

Re: WTB Rivermaster Boat
I have one, but would not sell it "again" for the world. Yes I did sell it once but was able to buy it back two years later. I have the 13' 6" RiverMaster & it is Very stable! I am sure they don't make them anymore. But they were made in Live Oak. Check with Jacks Boats in Perry. ...

St Marks 11/24/15
I finally picked up some keeper Trout. Fished near the lighthouse during the incoming tide, and found 4 nice fish between 18 1/2" to 22". Let the 22" go to fight another day, & enjoyed some fresh fish for supper, plus some for my mother-in-law. It had been a long dry spell for me,...

4/23/15 St Marks Fishing
Just getting a chance to give this report. I left the fort at daylight on Thursday 23rd, & went to the east flats. Started near shore past Stoney with a lot of tails showing & the water slick as glass, but I swear they needed glasses to see my topwater. I had several strikes, but everone was...

Re: St Marks River Trout
Thanks for the replies. I put in at the Fort at 1:00pm on Monday. Had no luck in that area, so I moved to the bars near the Lighthouse, no Luck there!! I tried again at the fort area, no luck!! So I moved up the Wakulla & fished for some Bass. Picked up 3 keepers in 30 min's,, but the No-See-Um'...

St Marks River Trout
I have been working a lot so I have not had a chance to fish in a long time. Has anyone been finding the Trout & Reds up the St Marks river? Or are they still hanging at the mouth/flats area?
