Auto undercoating
Is there anyplace in Tally that does undercoating? Just bought a truck and there is some rust underneath. The truck is from Michigan and has been undercoated, but two spots were missed and the road salt has caused some rust.

Auto detailing with hand wax
Any recommendations for an auto detail shop in Tallahassee that hand-waxes (not just liquid mixed with the soap). I have a vehicle with some scratches in the clear-coat that should wax out. (My cats sleep on it, and they have claws.)
Re: heart
Stay calm, carry a list of your meds at all times, and keep your cell phone charged. I had a triple bypass 8 years ago and just got my second pacemaker 3 weeks ago at Shands. Doc keeps telling me to do what I can, and don't buy green bananas. Ha! What has been said about depression is true, but bein...

Re: Navy Testing
All new ships are tested like this. It's part of the shakedown process. Modern torpedoes explode under the keel. Hence the need to do this test. Must have been a slow news day.

Mullet Run
Got a call tonight from my son Josh in Boynton Beach to tell me the mullet run has started. Boynton Inlet is full of finger mullet. Snook and tarpon will be feeding on them all night. Brought back fond memories of mullet runs years ago. I went back in time 50 years to some epic beach battles with ta...

Centerfire rifle with no recoil
Here's the situation. Due to medical restrictions I can no longer shoot shoulder-fired weapons that have significant recoil. No shotguns, no rifles. So, my question is, do any of you know of a rifle with little or no kick? I'm thinking a semiauto in 223. Probably a heavy, wooden gun. Anybody have ex...

Re: St. Joe Scalloping
Unfortunately, their decision will come after my deadline, so don't expect any info in Friday's fishing column. I might be able to put something in the online version. To be safe, I'd save the gas and stay close to home. Next week we'll have a better idea of what's what.

Lake Hiawatha
What's the scoop on Lake Hiawatha? Any fish in it? Can you use a boat and motor? A friend is looking at a house there and isn't interested if there are no fish.

Kudos for a great roof replacement
Something to file in the back of your mind. I had my roof replaced by Callahan Roofing and was more than pleased. Excellent quality, in and out in two days, and an excellent price. A call to Jason would be more than worth it.

I think Huck Finn won one last night at the NFGFC raffle. He might want to sell it.

Re: St. Croix Legend Inshore LIS76MLF Rod Wanted
Good luck in your search. I've been looking for a Fenwick Saltstick SSGS70MST for about 7 years, ever since a member of my family who shall remain unnamed broke off the tip while fishing for neighborhood cats with a hookless artificial worms. Cats love rubber worms dragged across the road, especiall...

Wow! Lucky someone was nearby. I kept an extra hand pump under the console, but by the time he realized he was in trouble and sank, there wouldn't be time enough to get it out.

Re: Keaton Beach????
Here's the report from Capt. Pat McGriff in today's Democrat: Keaton Beach Fishing Report April 15,16, 2016 We had some great fishing days, some good fishing days and some fine days on the water depending on the direction of the w-i-n-d. Water temperatures moved around, from 64 degrees early to 70 l...

Re: Gag grouper size limit change and season set
The size change goes into effect later this spring, not opening weekend (as I read it). Hope they publish something that explains it a little clearer.
