Re: Lanark/Apalachee Bay

We got the pilchards over at Dog Island. Didn't use them in Panacea. Tried to buy shrimp but the shrimp truck hadn't run yet that morning so we used gulps, topwater and ladyfish cutbait.

Lanark/Apalachee Bay

Well, this is the first fishing report I have ever posted. Fished Lanark Sunday afternoon and Monday. On Sunday, we stayed in around Lanark reef. Caught lots and lots of short speckled trout. Never did catch a keeper on Sunday. Caught 4 white trout and this really big shark. My fishing buddy had a g...

Re: Deep hooked fish can be released.

Y'all had fifteen other folks on your boat catching short trout???!!! If so, pretty sure you all WERE breaking the boat occupancy limit law unless you ...

Re: Mr. April

I just wish I could get some time off from work to go fishing.
And, normally I don't have a problem with bag limits or oversize fish.
I rarely catch that many. LOL

Re: anyone have an IPilot Riptide?

Spot lock depends on GPS signal, if you have 4 bars showing on the remote you should hold within 5' or so. Less bars mean the hold will increase. If you have 80lb TM on light boat it may over react, conversely if you have a 55lb on a heavy boat it will be slow to react. IF you are about stopped whe...

Re: anyone have an IPilot Riptide?

I have one and love it, but when I use my anchor feature, it doesn't just anchor right on the spot. The motor turns about 180 degrees and then stops sometimes moving as much as 15 or 20 feet from the spot that I wanted to anchor. I know this isn't much, but I was just wondering if someone could desc...
