Re: Deer stand problem.

We had one fall the other day because of wet ground. It had been leaning for a little while.

Re: Georgia deer hunters, new Reg.
It is already in place for turkey hunting and they reported it was a reporting success. Myself, I think it is a bit too much government. From the article: Compliance during turkey season wasn’t great—estimates are that only about 40 percent of gobblers were reported through the mandatory Game Check...

Re: Concealed carry question
I use common sense. If it is in the glove box or lockbox, I say nothing. If I have it on my hip (mostly), then I will tell him it is there before I reach for my wallet, and ask him what he wants my next move to be, since I will be going right by my holstered gun to get my wallet in my RH hip pocket....

LOL. Duck, You need to go back to geography class! Chattahoochee is below the dam last I looked! :-D The Chattahoochee River stops inside the reservoir of Lake Seminole. The Flint and the Chattahoochee rivers join to form the Apalachicola River. Everything from the dam south is Apalachicola. Now th...

I guess I am a lucky man. First thing my wife says when we are going to the beach is "You got the boat ready?"

Sometimes, you have days like that, but a dinner (or lunch) at Roy's makes it all better!

Re: Alligator Harbor
There is a shallow area straight off the end of the point inside the channel markers. I have had good luck catching trout there. Also keeps you close to land because it can get rough up on the end sometimes. Would just be a little jog over from Leonard's.
Good luck!

Re: Alligator Harbor
Depends on where you want to go. There is also a public landing about a half mile before the marina on the right. It would be fine for a canoe. It is at the first curve after the water tower on the right. EDIT: Leonard's is closer to the west end of the point. Here is a map of all three. Depends whe...
