Rewiring A Boat Question

I'm considering a rewiring of my boat (05 SeaPro 2100, 150 Yamaha 2 Stroke). I don't have a lot of electronics on board, standard stuff: bottom machine, vhf, radio, etc. If any of you all have any suggestions on who to take it to (I live in Wakulla) or how much I should budget for, I'd appreciate so...

Re: Looking For A Truck

Thanks for the tip SK. I'm good with switching over to Ford. It's hard for me to complain about Chevy when my Z-71 has 164,000 miles and never had a real issue (A/C repair a couple of years ago). I will check out the Ford Dealer and see what's possible. I've bought my last two trucks and my wife's S...

Looking For A Truck

After 11 years of driving my 05 Z-71 I figure it's time to start looking for a new(er) truck. If anyone knows of someone selling a good truck (prefer 2012 or newer) that is a Crew Cab and has 4-wheel drive would you shoot me the info? Or if someone knows "the absolutely best" dealer to wor...

Re: Custom Vinyl Decals in Tally/Crawfordville

Wondering if anyone has advice on where to go in the Tally or Crawfordville (preferably) area? I need to get my boat name made up and applied. If you are looking for a place to get this work done in Crawfordville, you can check out Auto Trim & Design. They do all of the decal work for the Sheri...

Re: Residential elevator needed

Residential Elevators Inc. is headquartered in Crawfordville. I know you said she may not be able to afford a traditional one, but she may want to give them a call and see what they can/can't do. Also, look into a "Beach Butler" system, it's cheaper than a residential elevator since it's n...

Re: Ice Maker Not Working

Just in case anyone else has problems with their ice maker, here's what the problems/fixes were for mine. Slow water out of the water dispenser was due to the filter, a new filter change made the water flow much better (I guess sometimes you have to change them more than once every 6 months). As for...

Re: Ice Maker Not Working

My mom has one that she will let the filter go until it blocks and it stops making ice (I now have it on my calendar to change out) but once I replace the filter it takes 2-3 days before it starts making ice again. I assumed there was air in the line and it takes a bit to purge out, tried to find a...

Re: Ice Maker Not Working

Model number on fridge is needed for best diagnosis. Also remove incoming water line from rear of fridge. Place the line in a pail and turn on water to evaluate incoming pressure. If that pressure is good the problem is due to components in the refrigerator.. Both water dispenser and ice maker coul...

Ice Maker Not Working

It appears my ice maker in my freezer isn't working. By chance do any of you all have any pointers on where to look for the issue? For the last 6 weeks or so, the water in the water dispenser has also been very slow. I changed the filter, but no difference. Any advise/tips would be appreciated. Chris

Daughter's 1st Crossbow Buck

My oldest daughter (16) shot her first buck at the age of 9, a basket 8-point she took with a 270. Since that time she has hunted with me quite a bit trying to get something to put on the wall. She's had several opportunities to shoot nice bucks but they never quite "felt right" or the opp...

Re: St. Joe Scalloping

I agree BMan, 40 scallops sure isn't worth going to St. Joe. I don't think this will take any pressure off of our area.

Re: St. Joe Scalloping

Hey SilverKing: My source is pretty tight. They are advising the season may be modified in St. Joe but there will be a season over there. As you noted, this is supposed to come out of Thursday's meeting. We will see what happens. I don't scallop over there any more, but I would like the pressure tak...

St. Joe Scalloping

I heard St. Joe will be opened up for scalloping although previously the regulators said they were gonna have it closed this season. I heard it from a solid source, anyone hear anything like this?

Nice load of fish. Where was that dock picture taken? Looks like some of the docks we had down our way in Wakulla.
