Re: It's time for him to go

In full disclosure, I am an Auburn fan, so have gotten some chuckles out of the whole Winston things and the jokes, etc. that follow that sort of thing. The more concerning thing here is how much news can be generated from a college football player, a NFL player, etc. We all have our opinions on the...

Re: Bimini Tops???

All good points throughout this post. I have a bimini on my current 19' bay boat. I had a t-top on a 26' cc that I just sold this summer. I really like the t-top as it does a much better job of getting rods out of the way when not in use and the t-top does not get in the way when fishing. With my bi...

Re: Keaton scalloping 7/19/14

Thanks for the report and I enjoyed reading it. Always enjoy seeing kids catching fish. I always just tell myself that the extended ramp time is just all part of the scallop experience.

Re: Seagrass Loss at Econfina

My wife and I were fishing in front of Aucilla this past Saturday. While this was some new area for me, I was surprised at the vastness of areas with lack of grass. I even commented to my wife that we seem to be having some surprising difficulty in locating the grass. I would not have thought anythi...

Re: 4th of July fishing/scalloping at Keaton beach

Nice report and glad you got both fish and scallop. Hate that about the tire. Had that happen to me twice in the same year-no fun. Good to know there are still those willing to stop and help.

St Marks Fishing and Tow

Launched at the fort in St Marks this morning. Headed east and made it all the way to Aucilla before getting a keeper. My son and I picked up 7 keepers once we found them. All on CJ with new penny gulps 3.5-4 foot of water. Now for the rest of the story--If you don't have a tow service subscription,...

ReplacementTaco Outrigger

So I know that this is a long shot, but I bent one of my Taco outrigger poles (long story - or maybe not so long - just stupid) and am looking for a replacement. Everywhere I look, they are sold by pairs. I also looked on eBay with no luck. Does anyone know where I can get a single replacement pole?...

FSR-fiberglass stain remover. Blue gel type stuff. Expensive but works.

Re: Cape San Blas area

Couple of thoughts if you want to get some catching and releasing in. About halfway between Blacks Island and Eagle Harbor, there are two channels that come together. You will see them on any map of the bay. Not sure if the rena boats have a depth finder or not. Fish the shelfs around the y in the c...
