We used to take my dad's skiff out to 25 miles. Limited only by fuel amount we could take. The only problem we had was the ride obviously. Other than that I second what Tom said. Keep your head and watch the weather and keep the bow into the wind, especially if you have a cut out transom. Good Luck!...

Nashville, GA! That is right up the road from me. I will call him too, as I am in dire need of a t-top and a leaning post for that matter. I have a bimini that broke on the way in doing 30 kts. That scared the crud out of me.

I have a 22' Chris Craft. It's a CC and it is very dry for a CC. I have had it out several times. The last was the only time I got wet and it was 4-5' This boat is apparently rare as I haven't seen anymore of these around.
