Re: Lanark, Oh Crap and Seatow

Re: Lanark, Oh Crap and Seatow
No hijack, it was a serious question. Where are the lapses in coverage, I switched from seatow to tow USA last year due to my navionics discount, I have to renew in may, before I renew I was wondering where the lapses were. I have no preference other than cost.

Re: swim dive ladder on float pods
If that don't work out I may still have my old ladder that attached to the side of the boat. If I still have it I'll give it to you, I work in Tifton anyway.

Re: Lanark, Oh Crap and Seatow
Where is the lapse in coverage for TowUSA? I know they have a boat at Carabelle, St Marks, and Steinhatchee. I thought Seatow didn't have a boat in Steinhatchee anymore.

Re: Amberjack to close
It's all model based, based on one paper from 2000, essentially the model makes higher populations look worse than lower ones due to the model figuring 30% mortality for catch and release fishing. The 2014 study couldn't even make determinations due to contradictions in the model. http://i64.tinypic...

For the money the hell bent is hard to beat, 13 fishing makes the hell-bent. I used it until I got a falcon lowrider and you can order them from gander MTN for $59.

Re: Berkley Inshore spinning rods
I've played with them in the store, they seem to be a rebranded wright&mcgill rod, for the same money I bought a no8 tackle company hell-bent inshore.

Re: Towing Vehicles
The half ton actually isn't a fiat, its a VM motori, they seem to do fine until you use them to do a good bit of towing and then they tend to have issues. They get great mileage but under load they seem to get cam gear slippage and that ends badly. My cousin's boyfriend had one to pull his bassboat ...

Re: Econfina or Keaton Beach?
I had similar luck in steinhatchee, fished two days and it only had two bluefish to show for it. Fished creeks, Creek mouths, oyster bars, the river, the flats, 1ft all the way to 20ft with not even a seabass to show for it. Wind and waves forecast was off as usual. I agree with you. It was ROUGH F...
