Re: Are Cobia good to eat?

Doesn't a cobia have to be 33'' long to keep? I bet those things pulled.

Re: Are Cobia good to eat?

I think a keeper cobia has to be about 33'' long, am I right? Is that what you caught trolling? Great fight.

That really stinks. I was planning on going Saturday. Is Rock Landing still open?

Re: St Marks 3/20-21

  Thanks for the report, sounds like they bit good for yall. We tried to launch at Aucilla yesterday morning and had the same problem, low water and it was misting rain. Ended up at Keaton and had plenty of water with sunny weather, plus about 100 boats trying to launch!

Re: Boat ramp etiquette ......

It was like a zoo there today at 4 pm. Took almost an hour to get loaded up. And we had to park almost to the store.

Re: Keaton 3/21/20 report.

We were there today from 10 to 4, beautiful day but fish seemed scattered and didn't bite well for us. Ended up with 3 keepers and 2 nice Spanish, a few short trout. Lots of boat traffic too. :o

coastal rivers

Did the recent rains mess the rivers up much in N. Fl.? I was wondering if the flats were in any kind of shape for fishing, it's getting warm enough. We had a ton of rain up here, it's still a mess. :-?

Re: Wed.

My Dad always said if the tide's not moving much, the fish probably won't bite good. I've found that to be true most of the time.

  Great job with those conditions! You remind me of me, being out in that weather. If they're biting, I usually don't care either.

Re: The ignorance of some is amazing !

I don't like other boats doing what they did to you, and I don't like them flying past you and throwing a big wake for you to have to deal with. Some folks just don't need to be on the water!

Re: Aucilla River 2/12/20

 Nicely done! Too bad you couldn't make it out of the river, I bet there's some nice fish on the grass lines right now.
