How far off, depth?

The viz 10 days ago was about 30 ash out by the K tower. Has anyone been out since Irma? I would like to dive next week during the weekday so if someone goes out let me know.

I haven't been out in a couple weeks, what is the visibility offshore at the moment, any good for spearing?

There's bound to be some avid speros on here somewhere. The water clarity hasn't been that great lately and there seems to be so many sharks out there right now. I can bearly get a snapper up without the Tax man taking half of it.

Looks like this part of the forum is dead, does anyone around here spearfish. If so, I am a weekday guy and would like to meet some people that are doing this because I am new to it.

I tipped with squid. I guess I was to shallow.

I have a Shimano Curado and a Abu Garcia inshore baitcasters both with G Loomis E6X's. both setups are only a couple months old and haven't seen much use. I have been doing more offshore and need some different rigs.

Each setup is $200.

They cost me about $330 for each setup.

I have tried this at Lanark and wasn't that successful. I only caught one every ten of fifteen minutes. I was in 1-2 foot of water, should I be deeper?

On another note, where should I go to get some Blue Runners?
