Re: 1st Inshore Trip 2023

Sounds like my experience from last Saturday. We did manage 1 Trout that was barely over 15" but several sail cats, ladyfish and some weird looking "grunt" a few big fish that didn't get close to the boat and several small sharks. Glad it will be scallop season soon because the fishin...

Re: Triple Tail in the Bay

Started to seek a different species ... I have never targeted Triple Tail, but a friend and I noticed some around a crab trap buoy last year and put 4 of them in the boat. They were all too short so they got to get back in the water to grow a little more. I've always wondered about anchoring out a ...

Re: Get some reports started

Great report! I haven't been finding any legal size fish recently, but it sounds like the water has cooled off a degree or 2.

I call that one the original as well because I worked there from 90 to 93. I have a plank of siding from the building, but never got my hands on a sign.

When you say the real Posey's which one are you referring to? I haven't been around Keaton or Steinhatchee much, but I want to check it out this summer.

Re: 3/25/23 Fishing Report

I have seen 2 large cats out there recently! I thought about taking one home to see for myself how good the are. I had to go all the way to the Pinhook River to catch a nice Red on Friday.

Re: New to Area looking for Boat Ramp Advice

For a 27' boat St Marks Fort would be plenty of room (as doomtrpr said), but the St Marks Lighthouse ramp would be a little tight. I haven't launched at Shields in a while, but I think it was $5 per launch last time I was there and it should be fine for you. If you are talking about the Lanark Boat ...

That brings up a question for the Red Bearded one, why isn't Lake and Bay on your short list? My sister's boyfriend has one it seems like a well built boat.

Re: Can we talk Boats?

Went and looked at a 25’ Sea Hunt yesterday; was pretty surprised how much is “standard” and the value your getting compared to other similar brands. So you're saying the Sea Hunt is a better value that other comparable brands? I have two friends with Sea Hunt boats. One is a 17' 1999 CC with a 115...

I was just thinking about that on Saturday. The ditches have lots of lilies on 267 from Wakulla St to the Lighthouse Rd.
