Went out from Aucilla today, Hot with zero breeze. Fished between 10 & 2. Caught 1/2 doz. trout, on surface Mirro's, around Cobb Rocks. Life is good!

Looks like it's a good idea. Looks like fun. Looks like you could catch fish from it. Doesn't look like its free!
I suspect I'll keep my yak & CaroSkiff.

I spent a day out of Aucilla a while back, when I got home the water pump screamed and died while I was flushing out the motor. I thought a bit about what a hassle it would have been if that happened a hour earlier, out in the Gulf!
I ran in the house and signed up with SeaTow! No Worry's now!!

Mirrolure's have been working. Look around for the 808 color, Catch 2000. Or the ones that are sort of "pearl" on the sides, blackish on top, orange on the bottom, Mirrodine. I understand Rapala makes some similar product, but I've not tried them. Go north of the dock a few hundred yards, ...

I pulled out of the water about 2:30pm. Water is like Light coffee.

No trout today, 1/21/14.
Will try agin Thursday if the river doesn't ice over!
