Yeah, you really need bigger ones to make it worth it. We usually kept em 20"-28" in the Atlantic. Not sure how common that size is in the Gulf.

Looks great. Having the right tools (wire stripper, heat gun for shrink tubing, clamp for quick connects, marine bus, proper terminal ends, etc) makes the job relaxing for me. I enjoy rewiring stuff.
