Spent the weekend fishing St Marks and sweating. I was surprised at how rough it was. Friday, the wife, son and I managed 10 keepers and very few shorts. One 22 incher caught by my son. Took us from daylight to about 2:30 to manage those. A few under corks but most were caught fishing Z-Man swimmers...

My son is 15 and still loves to fish. When we start fishing deep and go to Z-Mans on jig heads he wears me out but I love seeing it.

I was about to say the same thing about apps. Unless you have a completely uninterrupted signal you will be frustrated. Go old-school with pre-loaded maps like a garmin.

So, this more than likely means a very large price increase on Navionics charts. Love their product and have never been a huge fan of Garmin. I'm sure this a Ford vs Chevy type of thing though.
