Re: Yamaha Prop
***Just posting this in hopes of saving you the trouble I had.*** I put a 4 blade Mercury trophy 17 pitch stainless prop on my Yamaha 115 4S... I love the performance of the stainless prop over the factory aluminum 3 blade 19 pitch prop, but when I first installed it I had a very loud prop rattle at...

Needing more storage!
Im out of storage in my 1966 G3. Does anyone know anything about the construction of the underside of the front deck? What I'm asking is, if/when I add a floor hatch to each side of the front deck forward of the livewell, will I cut any critical structural supports? Has anyone done this?

Re: How many of you fish out of a Jon boat for inshore?
I fish a 2013 G3 1966 side console with a Yam115 4S (The tan colored version with no carpet) around St. Marks/Shell Point/Spring Creek. I love it for the most part, wide beam, deep sides, large decks, will float in 7-8 inches of water. With that being said, it will beat the teeth out of your head, a...

I sure hope they do. It's a long haul to pull a boat from Tennessee to catch the Wiley ladyfish! Lol

Where are the fish??? Shell Point / Panacea
Fished hard Friday and Saturday around Shell Point / Panacea and have 1 redfish, 1 barely legal trout, and about 20 lady fish to show for it. Is everyone else having slow days or am I screwing up? Thought maybe the stained water may be partially to blame??? Used Live pinfish/grubs/gulp shrimp/cut ba...

Re: Registering a Boat in GA or FL??
According to the law, a boat is to be registered in the state of principal use. . . as long as it is currently registered in your name in any state you will be fine.

Re: Best aluminum bay, flats, and bass fishing boat
Let me start off by saying I am NO expert. But I have a 2013 G3 1966 side console (went with side console for more floor space)with a Yam 115 4stroke on an aluminum Magic Tilt trailer. It is great in skinny water, and will run in the low 40s fully loaded with 3 people. It's a super stable boat, I li...

Re: Shell Point Help
Thanks! Boat is a 1966 mod V with Yamaha F115 four stroke on an aluminum magic tilt trailer. Works pretty well in the shallow water but is a slow go if there is very much chop on the water. Lol I already have a marine VHF and I think I'm in compliance with the rest of the safety equipment regs. The ...

Shell Point Help
Hello all, My grandparents had a place in Shell Point when I was growing up and we fished the flats until I was about 14. I am 30 now and started coming back down last July. We caught a few good trout and some reds in Spring Creek and around Live Oak Island on gulp shrimp, stinger grubs, and topwate...
