I would launch at the Fort or from Shields for your first time. Will give you a chance to follow the channel markers and give you a good lay of the land. Thanks for the report Rick. Glad you got out. Your mystery fish sounds like a big jewfish or nurse shark, but could have been anything. Record gag maybe.
