I asked a man who fishes there a lot about the bass. He said something in chartruese was usually good. Said expect to get your feelings hurt, as they are tough to pattern. But said there is some good bass fishing in there now.
Heard some big specs were coming out of there too.

Is it wadable around there? Thnking of taking the kids for a crab/flounder gigging trip. Or would it be better to launch the boat for that area? Is there a closing time for the pier/boat ramp?
