Re: Ceiling fan help?
I appreciate all of the feedback. I definitely appreciate the importance of well grounded appliances. The fan in question has zero pull chains, and I think I would need to take the fan down to get the ground situation resolved. Maybe while it's down I will search the junction box for the extra switc...

Maybe the release of the "new model" will make the older ones cheaper. A guy can hope.
I've been wanting a long-sleeve T style fishing shirt but the price tags are outrageous.

Yeah, I can see maybe in the master bedroom, but why anybody would build a new house, with kid's rooms with remotes is beyond me.
All of the rooms in question have double switches - one of the two seems to do nothing.

Not sure the FSU lose can be blamed on parenting...those kids want to win. Be serious. They're scholarship athletes at a top tier division 1 baseball program. Of course they want to win.

What's the issue, ya figure? Would a new remote receiver fix it?
http://www.amazon.com/Universal-Ceiling ... n+receiver
For $17.50 it might be worth trying.

Ceiling fan help?
The fan in my daughters room operates on a remote control with no available pull chains. When I flip the wall switch on, the light comes on and the fan turns on. Here's the part I dont get...
If BUI is as serious as DUI, then why are open containers allowed in boats? I can wave at Johnny Law from the FWC out on the sand bar with a brew in my hand and get a wave back. Try that on Capital Circle...

Re: And you thought Wakulla was wild?
I wonder what the name of the vessel was...
Perhaps a pontoon boat named "Pon-Poon"
Maybe it was a twin engine river rig named "Double-Trouble"
Possibly it was a slick-bottom air boat called "Slippery When Wet"
HIYOOOOOOOO!
