Saw you out there yesterday-that WIND was relentless, never let up.

We went for reds also, ended up with only trout,up to 19".

I had a Mako 20 that went thru Andrew in'92. We were hit with the blunt of the strom being just north of Homestead. I removed everything of value or that could fly off, flattened the tires and filled the hull with water.
Those that didnt secure their boats became flying projectiles.

Dont feel bad - you are not alone!!! I sunk my 1st boat on the boat ramp on her maiden voyage. I launched the boat and went to park the trailor- by the the time I got back,my cousin had pulled her as far as he could so as not to completely SINK> :o

I put anything that will spoil in a bag and freeze it. All ends up in the freezer where I store any frozen fish or bait and take it out the night before trash day. No smell , no spoil- no, problem!!!! :wink:

We went to a couple of spots that usually were productive, but never that generous. My best advice would be grab a house parent and request Diante to fish with you- he will do the rest :D
