Re: GPS questions from a primitive fisherman

Use marine navigator on android and you use predownloaded RNC that you always have , the phone just provides GPS.

Re: GPS questions from a primitive fisherman

Use marine navigator and navionics on a cell phone if you want to go cheap, if you want a dedicated one I have an old Garmin some where that would fit in your tackle box I'd get rid of for cheap.

I survived spring warrior 4/28-29

Decided to fish out of spring warrior Friday and Saturday, never fished the area before. Read up on the path out of the creek from an old post and of course got to launch Friday at low tide. Put puted out and had a decent day of fishing, 9 keeper trout, one keeper bsb, and one blue runner. We didn't...

Man, I hope your joking
Of course, I asked him about scalloping and he never responded. I won't pay a legal guide because it's too much $$$, I'm definitely not paying a guy to take me to get fined by the fwc.

Re: Steinhatchee 4/10

The cobia was in about 2ft of water, I was getting ready to go back to 3-4 when it hit. It was a great trip, I just want to catch my first steinhatchee redfish.

Time to add some points to the hummingbird, the view at steinhatchee isn't that clear. I wonder if it hasn't updated.

Steinhatchee 4/10

Wanted to fish Keaton Sunday but alas I didn't get to live oak until 9:30pm so no fishing on Sunday for me. Didn't get on the water until 10 but limited on Trout Monday at steinhatchee to make up for it, also caught 1 keeper sea bass and a short cobia. Not many shorts were caught nor could we find r...

As cheap as a baofeng VHF handheld is, it definitely is worth keeping in the boat.
