I'm taking some measurements on the bow of my skiff today to see if it will work. I'm afraid it may be to long at 60", I have a 48" mounted now and it's only a 16' boat. I may have to see what it might cost to swap the shaft out.

That sure wasn't a "virtual weigh in" but it would have been the right thing to do - get length and girth measurements and release the fish. Makes no sense to kill that Marlin, not anywhere near a record.

It's tough getting old! I had the year wrong so I just corrected the post. The boat is a 2014 model year that i bought brand new January 2015. Motor has the YES warranty through January 2021.

Late 2014 model year, placed in service in 2015. Due to some health issues the boat has had only 79 hours of use. Fully equipped and ready to fish. $33,000.
