Has anyone used the Yates Creek Rd ramp in Perry recently? Never used it before, but thinking about heading that way to scallop this weekend and would like to avoid the crowd at Keaton Beach Marina. Easy enough to get in and out of there with my 17' Key West? Thanks in advance for the help!

I'm looking at putting a trolling motor on my 17' Key West, looking at a Minn Kota Riptide SE. I think I've figured out I'll need 55lb thrust or better, but am not sure about the length of shaft. Anybody got any advice?

The landing at Sun & Sand Rd has been re-shelled and is pretty good. I've had no problems launching & loading my 17' Key West, even at low tide, with my 2wheel drive. I used to use the one across from the public beach and it was a real pain, and especially at low tide,

Fished Turkey Point from 7-12 and caught 3 keeper trout (2 right at 20"), and 3 slot reds (the biggest was 22"). All caught under a CT with a 3" white gulp. Will post some pics tomorrow.

Got a '02 1720 Key West with a 90 yammy that I'm thinking about upgrading. Never had a problem. Runs like a top. bimini, GPS/depthfinder, am/fm/cd, dual batteries w/switch...Wanna make me an offer?
