Re: Post Front Fishing!!

Man those Carp are ugly. Ole Bob Hewes must be spinning in his grave to see his beautiful little skiff in chasing that homely of a fish. lol

At least you get them on a fly.......that's some little bit of redemption for the poor boat. :)

Re: Sport fish status for trout, reds means catch and releas

If trout, reds and snook are going to be "Game Fish".........you have to wonder what fish would qualify for the higher protection level of "Sport Fish" ? Tarpon, Permit, and Bonefish maybe.......... I wouldn't have a problem with that part.........but don't make a nice tasty Grou...

Re: Sport fish status for trout, reds means catch and releas

Fish that could possibly be designated as game fish include red drum, spotted seatrout and snook. The online meetings are from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 10 and 12. Re: SPEED TRAP IN CARRABELLE

I saw what I assume to be the officer this weekend. He had two different people pulled over on Saturday about 30 min apart. You better watch your speed thru there. I went 35 every time and the people behind me where about to lose their mind trying to pass me.

Re: Close Airboats

One of the main reasons I go fishing is to get away from the stress of work and everyday life. I used to be one of those guys who was on the water all the time, thought I knew best, had a set of rules of proper flats fishing behavior that I followed, and expected others to do so too. Re: St Marks or Econfina for Sat 11/17??

Look out for a mid morning negative .5 foot low tide at either location. Any north wind will add to that low. The St. Marks oyster bars will look like small mountains with that tide.

Navigation will need to be unerring if you venture out of the marked channel.

Re: The Preacher and JT at Lanark

Nice fish JT. Carson told me you guys had launched hours before I sauntered into the Lanark Market, even though I'm staying only a mile down the road. I started to simply turn around and head back to my motorhome since I was sure that you guys had already caught all the area's catchable fish...........
