Re: 2019 Capts for Clean Water Skiff Challenge starts today

If the crossing from Apalachicola to Steinhatchee was 3-4 footers, I wonder how rough it was coming out of PCB! I ridden 25' swells in the Gulf, but not on a 17' boat!

You know it's bad when the Thermocell doesn't keep them away! Sounds like a great fishing trip!

Re: Careful Spearfishing with All this Freshwater

Depends on what fish you spear. Most areas have a salt water demarcation line, but the fish just ignore it. :D

Re: St Marks 3-24 - Apalachee Bay

Sounds like a good day! I was not so lucky, we fished close to the lighthouse and in the river because of the wind and chop. Only caught 2 cats, 1 stingray, 2 ladyfish, and some tiny croakers.

He might not be the only one taking issue with it, but currently he is the only one posting about it here.

Re: Purchase Power

Net fishing was a way of life for the local forgotten coast. The Net Ban felt like a ban on that way of life. I understand why it still has so many long time residents upset and willing to continue the fight. With that said, is there hard evidence that the local fisheries have recovered because of t...

Tuesday through today would have been a good time to check! Fishing forecast for Saturday looks like OK, but not great.

With the $2,000,000 price tag I'm sure you would have a mechanic on standby for any engine issues! The 425 Yamaha is only $45,000 :D

Great video! The drone does help with scouting, but it doesn't make the fish bite as seen in the video.

Re: When will the Keaton Beach Pier rebuild be completed?

Does anybody have an address for this spot? I tried to search google maps, but could not find anything. One thing I do like is that the images on google maps seem to be taken at extreme low tide so you can see all the rocks and bars.

Re: Hunting Land 4 Sale

I know the general area well. I hunted for years in Magnolia before St Joe started leasing their land. Even hunted with some of those Lewis boys on the North side of Natural Bridge a few times. Sounds like a good deal, but just a little out of my budget.
