Re: Price Drop - Minn Kota Riptide Copilot
Juan - I am not sure exactly which parts I need yet. I delivered my trolling motor to Rick up in Attapulgus GA yesterday and he has not had a chance to look at it yet. My motor was having issues with the computer board that operated the remote control, so I was using the foot pedal for the past 6 m...

Re: Scallop Season
This early in the season they will be small and less plentiful. I have no idea what the State is doing opening the season before they need to. But then again when it comes to our fishery management, the "powers that be" appear clueless anyway.

Re: Bad news for PSJ
Did you spear those four TW? Open season, no bag or size limits. I tried Southern Seafood but they didn't have any. It's supposed to be very tasty meat. I might check with one of the seafood markets in Destin when I'm over there next week. I didn't shoot them but not because I was concerned about a...

Sounds a little big for that application.Ryan Anderson wrote:I'm 15 and have a 14' McKee Craft. I'm looking to upgrade the engine. I've seen a 90 on one before, but wanted somebody's opinion on it. Is it to big of a motor for this boat?

Yes, only one fish per species. Above post should answer more questions.Salty Gator wrote:Looks good, but not much of a premium on trash fish. Your better off fishing for cobia, reds, trout , pompano and flounder. Is it one fish per species?

Re: 2017 Trash Fish Classic
Prize money is awarded to 1st and 2nd place. Most points wins in. All fish must be legal size, 40 point bonus for the "trash can slam" which is the first 5 fish on the list. In the event of a tie, longest catfish wins.
For a complete set of rules come to the captains meeting.

Re: 2017 Trash Fish Classic
I do not have a rule sheet in front of me, but I believe if you catch the first 5 fish on the list it's considered the "trash fish slam" and worth 40 points. I'll see if I can clarify that.

What to do with an old gps
I've got an old Garmin 176c that is certainly dated, but still functional. What have you guys dip one with your older units? It seems Garmin no longer supports these units and they can't be updated.
