Re: Lesson in Irony
How many of you folks are willing to grow your own food? There is abuse in the farm payments system and yes, it was intentionally put there by politicians to even subsidize window box farming in Chicago and the likes. :o However, a bulk of the funds go to stabilize farming and keep the price of foo...

Re: So I broiled trout, shark, and bluefish: Taste test.
So, do you go ahead and clean the shark right when you catch him? Several years ago my oldest daughter caught a very nice shark. Blacktip I think. Anyway, we were with a guide and he just threw it in his fish box and we took it home. I cleaned it when we got home along with the rest of the fish and ...

Re: Mullet - Hook and Line fishing
Thanks for posting that. Couple of friends and myself bait them up and fish for them on the St John's river south of Green Cove Springs.
That's lots of fun especially when they are full of row.

Where to get out of the wind?
My wife and I always take a couple of days off after tax season and go to the coast. This year we are taking the kayaks and Friday will take a little trip up Wakulla River from Hwy 98. But Saturday I was planning on launching at Shell Point but the wind prediction for Saturday is terrible. 16 to 17 ...

Re: COTTON MOUTH / St Marks
Saw a big rattlesnake crossing the Chattahoochee river on day. The river's pretty wide where I was and the channel is almost in the middle of the river there. It swam right up to my boat like it was going to try and get in and just stayed with me for awhile until I finally couldn't stand it any long...

Re: RV Campground advice...???
It's a shame me that a person can't run his business the way he wants it. If he doesn't want kids he should be able to have no kids. What about adult only resorts? Agree. From the article, the guy apparently does this for a living maybe. A "Fair Housing Act Tester". Had no intention of st...
