I think I'm going to try the st marks reef on 2/15, will sheephead hit artificials or do I need fiddler crabs and shrimp?

I'd go with the etec, get the115 ho. I don't think the Yamaha is worth the extra money. Half as many moving parts and a 7 yr warranty would do it for me.

Thanks everyone, I normally would deal with the sports center up here in Ga but I really want an ETEC. I'll check out jacks as well, but I don't think a key west is in my price range.

How is this dealership? I'm looking to get a Carolina skiff sea skiff 19 but I want an evinrude ETEC. Normally I'd get it from the sports center in perry ga but they are not an evinrude dealer anymore.

Should have listened but I went to st marks instead of Keaton due to a late start. Fish were not up the river but I did manage a trout and a sea bass in the river mouth. It was better than working.

The trout still in 3 ft or so around keaton? I usually put in at dark island any way, but thanks for the heads up about the sea hag closure.

I've never fished St marks, I always got to keaton, steinhatchee, or st george. So, what would you do, go to keaton or st marks for some trout on Monday?

I went around dekle yesterday and they were very sparse from just north of dekle south, I'd head up towards jabo creek.

When I was coming down the canal today they were cutting the top off with a torch so I think it's toast.

The line was pretty bad yesterday, I actually put in at dark island instead, don't know if I'll do that again. Surprised it took you that long for the scallops, we got our 4 gallon limit in just over an hour.

What shaft length is the power drive?

I wouldn't worry about drones too much, they're technically illegal for this use any way since they'd be considered commercial. Plus they don't have that great of airtime anyway. But they would be a cheap scouting tool.

How's the scallops up towards dekle and jabo creek since the flood? Is the water dark or would it be worth going thus weekend?
